This is the 4th printing (50,000 copies in Sept. 1927) of the anonymous English translation. Hardback. Good. No dustjacket. Dark red boards are slightly worn and rubbed along edges of spine. Top and foot of spine slightly bumped. Gilt decoration on front board is still fairly bright. Spine darkened and gilt faded. Corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Pink biro '40' inside front board. Hairline crack visible where page block abuts back board but the hinge isn't exposed and the binding remains tight and solid. Paper very browned.
