SOLE EDITION. Small 4to, pp. 16, disbound; large ink-stain on title-page almost obliterating "Church," title-page a little soiled, lower corner worn. Steele published his "Crisis" in January, 1714, to defend the Hanoverian succession; he was expelled from the House of Commons for seditious utterances. This was one of several replies.
