Front and rear joints partially exposed: binding intact, though a little fragile, and rear endpaper loose. Spotted throughout. B/w frontispiece with tissue guard; b/w illustrations. Two fold-out maps at rear - both quite frail: one has an approx 4" diagonal tear, but no loss; and the other of which is detached, but laid-in.
