One plate has sprung proud of text block and is held in place on verso of plate, by fairly recent tape (no discolouration), which I imagine could be carefully removed. Otherwise text block is clean and tight. BEAUTIFUL HAND PAINTED BLACK LACQUERED BOARDS showing a bouquet of flowers on front board. Black leather spine with gilt titles and decoration. Splitting to leading edge where spine joins lacquered board, but still holding well. A beautiful and rare book in a most exquisite binding. (Book ref. 3092)  £180.00
