1st edn. Hardback in d/w. 574pp + 8pp Publishers list to rear. Decorated dark green bevelled boards with gilt titles and decoration to spine. Tissue-guarded frontispiece + 4 b/w plates by Gordon Browne. Light bumps and rubs to extrems (at some point this has been the top book in a bundle which has been tied up with string resulting in a single slight dent to the centre of each edge), prize plate to front pastedown. Internally clean and unfoxed, some hinges very slightly tender Overall a very acceptable copy of a scarce book. (Book ref. 3147)  £50.00
