Pale brown calf boards with five raised bands to spine with gilt decoration within panels and red title label with gilt title. Gilt decorative border to boards and Aberdeen University (Universitas Aberdoaensis) roundel in gilt to front board.(No other library evidence). Minor rubs to extrems and very slight signs of splitting to base of front board. Text block edges marbled. Slight foxing to one corner of prelims, otherwise extremely clean, bright and tight.
