1st edn in this form. Hardback. 12mo (125mm x 80mm). 448pp. Colour frontispiece. Red cloth boards with black decoration to both boards and spine, black titles to front and spine. Bumps and rubs to extrems, some staining to boards, lacks front endpaper, 1st hinge (between title page and preface) a trifle tender, otherwise internally clean and tight. (Fremont died in 1890, but the last date mentioned in the piece on him is 1854, thus 1860 for the publication date is an educated guess) (Book ref. 3969)  £30.00
