1st edn. Hardback. Sm 4to (260mm x 180mm). 252pp. All edges gilt. 32 tissue-guarded chromolitho colour plates. Green cloth boards with ornate black & gilt decoration and titles to front and spine. Neat contemporary inscription (1878) to verso of pre-title page. One plate appears to have been re-glued and is very slightly proud of the bottom edge of the text block. Very light bumps/rubs to extrems. Overall VG+, a very presentable copy. (Book ref. 4007)  £60.00
