Top edge of text block gilt, others untrimmed. In all 254 b/w illustrations by HEATH ROBINSON, of which 100 are full page. Very light bumps/rubs to extrems, some light soiling to covers and some pink spotting to lower board of Vol 1 (long contact with a red book?). Internally clean, bright and tight, no inscriptions or foxing, all hinges holding tightly. Overall a very presentable pair of beautiful books.
