1st edn thus in Heinemann's Great Engravers series. Hardback, no d/w. 15pp + 64 full page engravings, descriptions to facing pages. Grey/green paper-covered boards with bevelled leading edge and gilt titles to front and black titles and decoration to spine, engraved vignette pasted to front board. Light bumps to extrems and minor scuff to back board. Internally clean, bright and tight. A presentable uninscribed copy. (Book ref. 4410)  £25.00
