Near Fine/Very Good +. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall 0340185686 Nice copy for the year of this last of a trilogy involving the Brandon family, Uncle Mort, Linda Preston, Carter and a host of others. The first two volume were 'A Touch of Daniel' and 'I Didn't Know You Cared' which was the name of the BBC TV series. Probably Tinniswood's best writing. Carter and Uncle Mort were revived for a later series in book and radio form. Not inscribed or price-clipped, jacket shows a little rubbing at corners, but collectible.
