12mo. 15cm x 9.5cm x 4cm. A very good original binding. Full crimson calf with central gilt decoration and gilt border. Spine with 5 raised bands and gilt decorated compartments. All page edges gilt . Inner gilt dentilles. Marbled endpapers. Family history details (in a neat contemporary hand) to front free-endpaper for the Whitcomb family (1813 - 1837). Engraved title for William Dawson (carefully painted). Followed by printed title for T. Wright and T. Gill. Clean text throughout with 48 full page engraved plates, 5 of which have been carefully painted. Bound with : "A New Version of the Psalms of David... By N. Brady and N. Tate...
