The text of the present edition is that of Dr Perenchieff, 1727, corrected by one of the earlier editions of 1648, but contains the Prayers which were first added in 1649 in the 19th edition. Original title "The Portraicture of his sacred Majestie in His Solitudes and Sufferings". Pp.xvi/266/2(ads), red ruled margins, small binder's label (Burn & Co) to inside rear board, owner's name to front free endpaper, minor pink stains to inside rear board.
