"This book follows the timescale of the episodes, putting the abduction and subsequent escape of Number 6 in 1966, the year actor Patrick McGoohan took on the role...The story commences in April 1967, just after his 39th birthday back at home. The action finds him elsewhere for his 40th birthday, eventually reaching as far as - well, wait and see." Pp.124, black & white photo of the Houses of Parliament to inside front cover, and of "The Village"(Portmeirion) to inside rear cover. Paperback, has an illustration of a windmill with the letter 'F' in red and a black swastika to the centre of the sails to front, and black & white photos of six of the characters from the TV series to rear cover.
