Pp (iv). 176, with an engraved title-page and profuse illustrations in b/w & superb colour [many of the colour plates being highlighted with silver], and including four plates bearing a total of 56 laid-down colour sample slips. Original gilt-decorated, red cloth-covered boards somewhat rubbed and marked, and the top half of one b/w illustrated leaf removed as a sample by the previous decorator owner, one E.J.
