Neat inscription to the front free endpaper: "From an old S.D. 1943" together with some rubs and marks to cloth and some light occasional internal spotting, otherwise very good, in the original green cloth-covered boards/gilt spine title/white title to front board. A charming mixture of angling and humour [some of it rather broad for the year of publication]. Uncommon. NOTE.
