First Edition, small 4to, xvi,77pp., one of 238 numbered copies, presentation inscription from George D. Smith, 39 coloured plates (some offsetting), orig. cloth, uncut. George D. Smith produced this elaborate catalogue for Poor, whose collection of bindings was one of the most important ever formed by an American. The sale of the Poor library took place in 1908-09 and the catalogue is illustrated with over 100 plates. This catalogue is beautifully produced and many of the plates are printed with as many as ten colours. (Book ref. 28871)  £195.00
