Vol.1 only (of 2): the set embellished with seventeen elegant engravings comprising 4 views of theatres and 13 portraits. As this is Vol.1 only, there are 7: made up of 4 views of theatres, (interiors of Drury Lane, Little Theatre Haymarket, and Covent Garden; and an outside view of the King's Theatre), and 3 portraits (including the frontispiece of the Author). 630pp (lacking pp623-628). In its original gilt-dec.brown leather which is very badly worn with the upper board detached. Generally, contents good. (Book ref. 10893)  £50.00
