Also enclosed with this are two Autographed cards signed by the Author and dated Dec.29, 1952 and Jan.2, 1953 disputing the procedure of remaindering copies of her book without prior warning, and accepting a royalties settlement on the unsold remaining copies. In addition, her Secretary writes on her behalf dated Jan.9, 1953 requesting The Lady Sempill shall purchase six copies of her book at the remainder price, "and is very sorry that no-one let her know they were being sold at this price."
