A Theatrical Who's Who took part in this event; plus the list of programme sellers under the direction of Lady Alexander (many the wives of celebrated performers involved on stage; others included Margaret Cooper, Alice Delysia, Lily Elsie, Doris Keane, Kirkby Lunn, Lady Diana Manners and Gertie Millar). Programme of Music, arranged by C. Hubert H. Parry and Alexander Mackenzie, were composed and conducted by Norman O’Neill, Alexander Mackenzie, Edward German and Julian Clifford. Other conductors were Thomas Beecham, Dan Godfrey, Hamilton Harty and Henry J. Wood. Other Incidental music by Edward Elgar, Roger Quilter and Arthur Sullivan.
