First edition. Pp. [8]. 264. Bound in original full red morocco with gilt lined panels, raised bands. The covers are worn at the edges with one corner more worn than the others, but the binding is tight. Internally the text is very good, the endpapers are marbled with one endpaper missing. Moulin was born in 1601 and died in1684. He was a French-English Anglican clergyman, son of the Huguenot pastor Pierre du Moulin and brother of Lewis du Moulin. He was a religious controversialist and was the anonymous author of Regii sanguinis clamor ad coelum adversus paricidas Anglicanos, published at The Hague in 1652.
