Internally the text is very good, the endpapers are marbled with one endpaper missing. Moulin was born in 1601 and died in1684. He was a French-English Anglican clergyman, son of the Huguenot pastor Pierre du Moulin and brother of Lewis du Moulin. He was a religious controversialist and was the anonymous author of Regii sanguinis clamor ad coelum adversus paricidas Anglicanos, published at The Hague in 1652. He was a strong royalist and made a strong attack on Milton. Scans available.
