FIRST EDITION, 4½ x 5¼ inches, illustrated colour card covers, with silt ties with 2 tassles ties. There are 15 colour plates with the brief text in handwriting script on the facing page. The story is of the owner of a Dutch doll who wanted a black dolly. Illustrations show her painting herself black and then the frightened reactions of the chickens and cows. There is a little wear on the spine but otherwise a near very good copy. Scans available.  (Book ref. 16184)  £100.00
