Lady Wimborne comments on the Romanizing of the parishes which is being carried out "systematically and perseveringly" mainly in the villages. The Diocese listed with the villages mentioned and reported with their number of communicants are York, Lichfield, Gloucester, St. Albans, Chichester, Oxford, Truro, Ely, Norwich, Southwell, Salisbury and Exeter.
