In the original elaborately embossed & decorated red cloth over bevelled boards. The front board carries a gilt and black medallion centrepiece of the Poetic Muse, surrounded by a gilt border. The title is embossed in black against a gilt panel. The spine carries similar ornament. The spine is slightly dulled, the back board is lightly soiled. There is some light foxing. In all a very good copy of this "High Victorian" Edition. (Book ref. 1872)  £20.00
