1st. English Edn. 358pp. plus 6 lined blank pages for personal annotation. 12 fine full page illustrations from drawings by Ruth Reeves, Jean Cocteau, et al. There isa fine lengthy preface by John Collier.In the original brightly gilt lettered polished black cloth over Art Deco patterned green cloth covered boards. The green cloth is faded at the top edges. Internally there is a small cancel stamp to the front pastedown. There are no other library marks. The metallic green endpapers show a sprinkling of white, reminiscent of dusting with icing-sugar. In all a very goos copy of this charming book. No wrapper. (Book ref. 3029)  £25.00
