1st. thus. Medium 8vo. (18cm. tall x 12cm.). pp. xii, 323. plus 8pp. publications list. & xix, 589. plus 15pp. publications list. Bound together in black pebble grained cloth with gilt lettered spine. The backstrip is split vertically and has been thoughtlessly repaired with sellotape. The joints are rubbed and there is wear at the head and tail of the spine. The stamp of:- Nobel's Explosive Co. Ld. Ardeer Factory, Stevenston, N.B. 18 Dec. 1900. is to the front free endpaper and to the first title. This leaf has been inscribed in ink with A.D. 1588 - 1858. One leaf in the first part is loose, as are the title and 3 or 4 leaves of the prelims in Part II. The text is clean and very good. A good plus complete copy. (Book ref. 3752)  £95.00
