The Royal Arms and title in gilt to the blind bordered front board. Gilt lettered spine. The lettering to the spine is dulled. With an official presentation label to The Observatory, Glasgow inside the front board. The latter's neat stamp is to the head of the title. Slight offsetting to the yellow endpapers. In all a near fine copy. An excellent introduction on improvements in metrology is followed by the results of Mean R. A. ; and the mean N. P. D. of stars observed for each of the four years.
