reprint. Medium 8vo. (18cm. tall x 12cm.). pp. xx, 700. With 4 steel engraved plates. All edges are gilt. Red ruled borders to all pages. In the original red cloth over bevelled boards. The spine carries gilt friezes to the head and tail. The title, in gilt , with elaborate border is set against an embossed black border. The front board carries an embossed gilt urn with gilt and black embossed Key pattern border. The outer edges have equally elaborate black embossed black borders. The back board is blind stamped to match the latter. The spine is slightly faded, there is a lengthy gift inscription to the first blank. This apart a very good plus copy. (Book ref. 4059)  £27.50
