Large coloured map mounted and disected on linen. In the original green cloth hard covers. Scale approx. 1 inch to 3 miles. Closed size:- 27cm. x 17cm. Open size:- 132cm. x 103cm. The northern limit extends from Oban to Arbroath. The eastern limits from Arbroath to Middlesborough. The southern limits from Middlesborough to Whitehaven. The western extent is from Oban, through Campbeltown to Whitehaven. Roads and railways, pre-grouping, are clearly shown. Steamer and shipping routes are indicated. A table of distances by Road Rail and Air is provided. A list of motor vehicle registration letters and their town or county is printed. There is some light soiling of the map. One or two folds show some lifting of the map. In all a ggod plus sound copy. Dating is from the fact that the railways are all labelled with their pre-grouping names. (Book ref. 5953)  £22.50
