1st. thus. 4to. (24cm. tall x 17.5cm.). 123pp. Uncut. With 6 tissue guarded full page colour plates, 9 chapter headpieces in colour and 7 tail pieces in blue and grey. In the original blue and grey covers after a marine chart design. With a plain lettered spine. One of 300 copies "sur velin a la cuve des manufactures B. K. F. Fabrique specialment et filigrane au nom des editeurs." The copy (exemplaire) no. is blank. The watermarks "J. Schiffrin" and "B.F.K. RIVES" are present. From the library of the ritic Alan "Jock" Dent. Although unsigned it bears the small, neat cancel stamp of The Alan Dent Collection, Shakespeare Centre Library to the front free endpaper. There are no other library marks. There is also a small gift inscription in ink to the same leaf. The uncut edges are a trifle dust soiled. In all a very good to near very good plus original copy.
