Well Illustrated, each volume has Full Page B&W Plates, mostly photographs, A Double Page Colour Map and many In Text Maps. Red cloth covers with a design of Shields, Cannon and ships in Black & Brown to front. Spines have Gilt Lettering, a sword and a ship. 9 3/4" Tall. Sslight wear, spine colour is a little faded.
