Narrative commences with arrival in India in 1885. Green cloth cover with bright gilt Monogram and Coronet on front. Gilt lettering to spine. 8 1/4" Tall. 2 closed tears to very top of spine. Some edgewear. Hinges cracked. Pages in nice, clean condition apart from the last page and rear endpaper which have pieces torn out. On the last page nearly half of 8 lines is missing.
