Original Black Half Leather Binding. Spine has 4 Raised Bands with ornate gilt decoration in 3 compartments, Gilt title in 2nd and gilt vol No: in 4th. Gilt border lines where leather meets the cloth on boards and corners. All Page Edges Gilt. Marbled Endpapers. Illustrated Title Page and Printed Title Page, both dated 1847. 9 3/4" Tall.
