Cloth. Near Good. "With FULL PAGE ILLUSTRATIONS in Rembrandt Photogravure", protected with tissue guards. Vol. 1, Chaucer to Dryden, 251 pages; Vol 2, Pope to Swinburne, page numbers continue to 529. Red/Brown cloth covers with leather title labels with gilt lettering on spines. 12" Tall. No inscriptions except an old faint penciled price on endpaper. Some fading and wear to covers. Leather labels have a few little pieces missing and some fading to the gilt. Vol 2 has some closed tears to the cloth along the spine edges and vol 1 has a closed tear (1" long) at top corners of spine. Hinges sound and pages clean. Set weighs over 3 Kilos so postage will be extra. (Book ref. 007141) £20.00
