Thrilling book, lots of big game hunting etc, would have been a treasure to an adventurous schoolboy. Original brown cloth cover with blind embossed decoration on front and back, Gilt central hunting design & title to front and gilt animal designs, decoration and ground to lettering on spine. Page edges untrimmed. Very interesting illustrations, include animal skeletons. Quite worn with closed tears down spine ends and some loss of colour around edges of cover. Binding fragile with a few pages loose. Some light smudgy marks in margins. Only an occasional spot of foxing.
