Frontispiece Illustration shows a Gorilla leaping from a tree onto startled natives. Chapters include "The Vast" (Whale, Elephant, Python etc); "The Minute", "The Recluse" (Ostrich, Moose etc), "The Terrible" (Wolves, Bears, Sharks etc), and much more. Green cloth cover with blind embossed decoration to front and rear, bright gilt gorilla & natives on the front and gilt lettering to spine. 8 1/4" Tall.
