Cloth. Good+. Delightful Regency Romance featuring an aloof hero with a satyr's eyebrows and an unusual heroine blossoming as a highly controversial authoress. Unfortunately the hero turns out to be the villain of her tale! Maroon cloth cover with dull gilt lettering to spine. Jacket illustration shows a Regency gentleman, a carriage with a lady and a boy, and a stately home in the background (by A. E. Barbarosa.) 8" Tall. Some edge wear to jacket with small pieces missing from spine ends and a closed tear (1" long) at the bottom (see photo). Not clipped. No inscriptions except an old penciled price on endpaper.
