Brown cloth cover with a bright gilt group of figures round a poor woman with her feet in the stocks. Surrounded by black decoration. Bright gilt ground to black title. Spine has gilt picture of a boy on a horse galloping through the city, black decoration and gilt ground to lettering. Undated Edition, nice old presentation inscription on preliminary page dated 1884. Some wear at spine ends and corners with a very small piece torn from cloth at very top of spine. 7 1/4" Tall.
