With many small In-Text Illustrations, a few full page plates with the text (including human Anatomy, Sailing Ships etc) and a section of plates with multiple illustrations per page at the back. Alphabetical Finger Indents for ease of reference, the first ones opening to the left and the latter ones opening to the right. Contemporary Full Leather binding, very crudely repaired by fixing a large piece of leather right around the book leaving on the edges of the leather visible. Leather backstrip still seems to be there under the overlaid leather. Pages mostly in ver good, clean condition. A little creasing to first & last few pages. 12" Tall.
