There were many top class racehorses in the 1995 flat season. None more so than Lammtarra a son of Nijinsky that only ran three times during the season. He won the Epsom Derby his first race, then the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes and finally the Prix de l'Arc de Tromphe. Frankie Dettori was the Champion jockey with 216 winners.
