There were some great racehorses in Europe during the 2000 flat season. These included Dubai Millennium who was the Timeform.s Horse of The Year, Best Older Horse and Best Middle Distance Horse and was rated 140 by Timeform. Others were Sinndar, King's Best, Kayf Tara, Giant's Causeway and Observatory. Sadler's Wells son of Northern Dancer was the leading sire.Kevin Darley was the champion jockey with Richard Quinn and Pat Eddery the runners-up.
