First Edition (First Impression). Cloth. Very Good +. 2 vols. 16 plates as is called for but instead of a plate of a Miss Taylor there is a coloured plate of the author that is the frontis to vol 1. Plates are bound in in order and not as per the instructions to the binder. No half titles but an index to each volume and an advert leaf at the rear of vol 2. A tight and clean set in 19th c. plain red cloth that is clean but faded to the spine. Gilt titles and 3 simple bands on spine.
