First Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very good-. Signed by Author Incsribed by Aiken on the end paper "David with love from Joan 24.3.60". Later issue beige boards. Book is clean and tight. It is slightly cocked and the fore edge is a bit tanned with one small ink spot but neither are visible when the pages are opened. The jacket is 99% complete and is not clipped. There is shallow chipping at spine ends, small nicks to corners and wear to hinges of flaps. There are a couple of tears to front top edge and one each to rear top edge and bottom front. All are repaired on the inside with archival tape. It looks ok but clearly not a sharp copy.
