First Edition. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good. nd.[1933]. All plates present. A very uncommon early biography of the inventor of television. Diana Baird's name and 1933 written on the fixed end paper. I am confused by this as the dedication of the book is to her and the author's daughter who were both born in 1932 so it may be there was a different lady of the same name... The book is clean and tight with minor wear to extremities and equally slight darkening to the spine. The jacket has chips to top corners and the top corners of the spine but the biggest one is only about 1/2". Spine is darkened with a vertical crease down the middle. The photographic image on the front panel is clear but otherwise the lettering is indistinct but, looking at the flaps, I suspect it was never easy to read as it is red printing on green paper which was not a good idea.
