Nabokov, Vladimir Pale Fire , London: Weidenfeld and Nicholson, 1962.

First English Edition (First Impression). Cloth. Very Good-/Very good-. Book would be graded higher were it not for a 1/2" tear to cloth at top of spine. Otherwise it is a solid copy with a dusty top edge but no other flaws of note. The jacket has shallow loss at base of spine and deeper chips at top that intrude onto the title. The rear panel is rubbed with a 1" tear at top. Corners nicked and another 1" tear at top of front flap. Not a great copy but looks better than it probably sounds. A suprisingly difficult title to find. Postage will be confirmed when you enquire or order and for light or very heavy books will vary from the ABE quote which is based on a 1kg parcel. (Book ref. 002529)  £50.00
