Cloth. Very Good. Fourth english edition c.1889. endorsement letter from Thomas Edison printed after the title. An uncommon title in any english edition. Covers are a bit rubbed with a few ink stains on rear board. Some wear to cloth at spine ends and corners. Front inner hinge cracked and slightly shaky but still holding ok. Endpapers have some offsetting but otherwise the contents are fine. Previous (first?) owners name on title page.
