Derrick, Freda The Ark Book , London: Blackie & Son.Paper Boards with Cloth Spine. Very Good ++/Very Good++. nd. but a gift inscription dated 1937 on end paper. No indication as to whether this is a reprint or not though am assuming it is but it does have the uncommon dust jacket present. Boards and cloth spine are very clean and bright and the only flaw to the book is a couple of vertical creases on front end paper. The biggest flaw (though not a huge one) is that both end papers show a cuple of lines of abrasion where something has been stuck down and a little offsetting on the facing end paper. I dont think this was a library book but I have no idea what was stuck there. Pages uncut as issued. The uncommon jacket is clean and without tears and it duplicates the illustration on the paper boards. Postage will be confirmed when you enquire or order and for light or very heavy books will vary from the ABE quote which is based on a 1kg parcel. (Book ref. 002599) £42.00 The payment methods accepted by the seller, The Book Business , are shown in the right-hand column. |
