First Edition. Cloth. Very Good. A solid copy with no internal flaws other than (if you call it a flaw) a few contemporary ticks in the margins where the reader has agreed with the recording of events and where he has filled in a name that had been left as a dash in the book. Armorial bookplate on endpaper. Inner hinges solid. The rear board has signs of having had liquid on and the front board looks a little rubbed. Corners bumped with wear to cloth at bottom. Spine ends bumped with small tear to cloth at top front hinge. Lightly cocked spine. Better than this list of faults might suggest.
