First Edition. Half-Leather. Very Good. 2 volumes. Plates and maps all present. 19th c. half leather on marbled boards. The leather binding is fairly plain. Hinges are cracked to leather at top and bottom of volume one and a crack to top of front hinge on volume two but both volumes are solid. There is some wear to corners, spine ends and hinges and to edges. There are scrapes to the leather at places and also to the marbled boards on rear panel of volume 2 at one place. Internally the books are both in nice condition as are the coloured plates and maps. Not a fancy binding, and there are flaws to the extremities, but overall it is a reasonable copy.
