Printed in red and black in Chaucer and Troy types, decorative borders and initials. 8vo ( 5 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches), pp. (4, blank):xiv:282:(1, colophon):(2, blank), original limp vellum, uncut. Lacking all but one of the four green ties and this worn. Binding soiled, spine very darkened, a few very tiny punctures to upper cover, edges of text block dusty. Internally there is a worm trail to the inner margins of four leaves (pages vii-xiv only), very slightly affecting one letter of text, two leaves with light corner creases, some light marginal browning at end. Endpapers soiled else internally generally clean and crisp. Originally Imprinted at London in Paules Churche Yarde at the sygne of the Lambe, by Abraham Weale. M. D. LVI. "Now revised by F. S. Ellis & printed again by William Morris at the Kelmscott Press, Hammersmith, in the County of Middlesex, finished the 4th day of August, 1893" [Colophon]. (Book ref. 11843)  £1500.00
